Platy Yialos-Fikiada-Vathi
Platy Yialos-Fikiada (90 mins)
At the end of the asphalt road at Platy Yialos just after the Gerani studios follow the road with the sign towards the camping
Finding yourself at the chapel of Agios Ioannis make a left turn and continue on the path between the low cedar shrubs which give a special kind of character to the area. Leaving the bay of Xlakopou behind us (you can have a dive from the rocks) we reach Mousia (two storey house) having passed before the passages through the stone walls. Continue on the path (becoming narrower) to reach the bay of Fikiadas.
Fikiada-Vathi
Passing by the little chapel of Agios Georgios of Kontou. After approximately 45 minutes walk the path meets the dirt road and that in turn meets the asphalt road which leads to Vathi. After about 1200 metres we find the stone laid path which will take us to our destination. Visit some of the ceramic workshops in the region and retreat to the church of Taxiarchon.
