Apollonia-Vrisis Monastery
We reach the monstery by bus from the main road. If you wish to begin at Apollonia on foot you can follow the below mentioned route which is characterised by the following features: starting out at the petrol station in Apollonia on the way to Faro is where you find a small cemented road on the right
after about 20 metres or so. Follow this road in the direction of Kato Petali (you do not enter the village) to be exact head towards the chapel of Agion Anargiron.
From here continue on the right reaching at some point the asphalt road beside the monastery.
Vrisis Monastery-Apokofto (90 mins)
Above the monastery we find the helicopter landing pad. Continuing on the path on the right hand side of the landing site. After 300m we see on our left the football pitch. At the next crossroads we take the path on the left until we reach the main road which connects Plakoto with Panagia tou Vounou. From here we find a sign indicating "Chrosopigi". Continuing on the path until we meet the steps leading to the back of Apokofto. Continue on the river bed until reaching the beach
Apokofto-Faros
From here you can continue on until Faro (another 45 mins approx.)
