Chozoviotissa-Potami-Aigali
This is a long route, 8km approximately which enfolds over the ridge of this long and narrow shaped island. The route is titled N.1 on local walking maps.
Beginning at the parking area of Chozoviotissas. The stone steps bring you to the monastery. The main path branches off at many points, these branches usually lead us to churches (Panagia Theoskepasti, Agios Ioannis Chrisostomos, Panagitsa) or remote stables (Kappari, Oxo Meria) naturally the route crosses the abandoned farming community of Asfontiliti which is found about half way along the route. At some point we reach Ano Potamo. From there, the stone steps lead us to Kato Potamo. A few steps separate us from Aigiali.
