Aigiali-Anemomiloi Maxou-Lagkada-Panagia Epanochoriani
Aigiali-Anemomiloi Maxou-Lagkada-Panagia Epanochoriani (2 1/2 hrs - 5km)
If you have settled in Aigiali you can enjoy this circular route taking around 3 1/2 hrs. The stone laid path begins from Aigiali and ascends passing by the ancient Acropolis and reaching Lagkada with its little white houses perched on the hill-top. Search for the public parking area where the path to the windmills starts.
As we go along the stone laid path begins to disappear but its impossible to get lost as you can already see the windmills. The walk uphill is a little tiring.
On arrival, make a stop for photos and then continue on the other side of the hill going down toward Lagkada, this time in the direction of Agios Panteleimonas - Agios Georgio and a stop at the Byzantine church of the Panagia Epanochoriani.
Panagia Epanochoriani-Tholaria-Aigiali (1hr - 2km)
From the Panagia until Tholaria it takes about half an hour. We find the parking area from where the descent to Aigiali begins. Along the way the path branches off. We take the path to the right which meets up with the asphalt road behind Lakki. Walking along the length of the beach we return to the village.
