The small winery
Wine - Sikinos
Once it was called "Wine", the island today known as Sikinos. It was famous for its great production and quality of wine.
Today, the small winery, Manali, has successfully tried to revive the atmosphere of that period, when everything was pure and natural, made with love and care.
Location
The Manali Company is located on the northwest side of Sikinos, 2.5 km from Chora on the way to the Episkopi, in a vineyard of 15 acres of terraced land. It has a cellar with all the specifications and a winery with the most modern equipment also a cozy tasting room.
All structures of the cellar, are open to the public, available for a nostalgic trip through time, ideal for weddings and other events, and offers a magnificent view over the Aegean Sea.
Green Energy
The winery works exclusively with renewable energy, particularly solar. The collected energy from the sun and the air is half the cost compared to use of state provided energy (oil).
Wines
The rose wines of Manalis are of a very good quality, using local varieties (Asyrtiko, Aidan, Mantilaria), served with local food (biscuits, olives, cheese) on vine leaves.
