Beaches
Top beaches:
Platy Gialos (its the most popular on the island and is considered to be one of the biggest beaches in the Cyclades - you can find restaurants, hotels, camping and a super market at this location)
Kamares (Kamares has been the largest seaside village on Sifnos and the main port since the end of the last century - Kamares beach was awarded the Blue Flag for excellence fulfilling the following criteria: beach organisation, clean environment, safety for swimmers.
Vathi (excellent for children, there is a ban on traffic in the area - access to the properties on foot only - home base for the popular Elies Resorts Hotel)
Faros (here we find restaurants, grocery stores, rooms for rent). This is a quiet fishing village, with picturesque sandy beaches one after another:

From Faros begins the path which after a short walk leads us to:
Chrisopiggi (flat rocks and emerald waters)
and on the beach of Apokofto shady trees and little taveranas

- Herronisos (traditional fishing village, small sandy beach at one time this was a lively village of potters. Today we find tavernas serving seafood and just a few rooms for rent)
- Panagia Poulati (just below the church of the same name is a beach, you only need to follow the path)
- Epta Martyres (below the Castro there is a little islet with the church of the Epta Martyres (Seven Martyrs) - you can jump off the rocks)
- Seralia (small beach at the old port of Sifnos below the Castro-finish of your swim with an ouzo at the little taverna)
