Winery of Sigala
In the quiet region known as Mpaxedes just under Oia we find the contemporary, smart and well cared for winery of the Sigala Estate.
The classical varieties of Santorinian grape Arsirtico, Aidani, Athiri, Mandilaria and Mavrotragano traditionally produce quality wine, broadly acknowledged by international wine contests. Each variety alone 100% or combined with others yields an end product which is of a high standard.
Groups of visitors can be guided by Ms. Sofia Sigala through the winery learning about all stages of the production process and then taste the wines in the tasting room enjoying the serenity of the countryside. The room can accommodate up to 40 people. Guests are free to sit outdoors under the pergola overlooking the vineyards whilst enjoying the romantic atmosphere.
