This charming, multicoloured settlement perched high on the edge of the volcanic crater
draws in the crowds for its world famous sun set view. As the sun sets and is swallowed up
by the deep dusk and red earth the sight of candlelit verandas beckon us to partake in a glass

- The Caves - dug out of the volcanic rock, these "cave houses" were once the homes of sailors
- The Captains Houses - in comparison these are the houses of the more affluent ship owners of the past
