Beaches
Angali is a wonderful beach, accessible by car. In summer and particularly in the month of August, there is quite a bit of traffic and you have to be a bit careful on the narrow paved road. Here you can enjoy a swim, eat in the family-run restaurant with a panoramic view above the Pasithea rooms or indeed at any of the little tavernas located on the beach. Walking you can also reach the beach of Agios Nikolaos or Falifou. The highlight of the island is Katergo. Every 15 minutes from 11am until sunset small boats come and go from Karavostassi. Ambeli is ideal for those seeking tranquillity and who are willing to walk 15 minutes, leaving the car at the church of Agios Panteleimona. To reach Livadaki requires more effort, but is definitely worth it. To Livadi, 5 minutes by car, you will find places shaded by trees.
